No, if you can’t cut them out of your life, recognizing that they’re pathological liars, they live inside a delusion of which they are trying to drag you into. Hold firm don’t participate don’t get dragged in don’t fight back. Do not provide a narcissist and opportunity to try and rationalize or justify their behavior. And hold them accountable.
