I can’t lie Claire got it the worst. An ancient sorcereress with magic, who DEFEATED MERLIN HIMSLEF, MERLIN, AS IN THE PERSON WHO CREATED THE TROLLHUNTERS AMULET, she is also like as smart as Merlin too. Also in the series finale she could’ve wiped out the main cast, she defeated Claire, Merlin, douxie, and Jim. If angor rot hadn’t turned good, they would’ve lost.

it almost feels like a representation of what their fears would be if they were in reality and the nightmares represent mental problems. think about it, Jim has empathy and is jumpy and self aware and wants a happy life with his friends and mother but Gunnar is a representation of that worry that there is something that could take away the whole world right now and everyone leaving like his dad. Toby has his grandma and Jim and they are both really important to him, the Nanna could pass away anytime soon and Jim would be the only one left with him as well as Darcy, but Angor Rot is actively chasing down Jim to assassinate him representing that since Jim is stressed and very self aware, he could possibly 🔪 himself. idk, what do you guys think?
