I think it’s sad how desperate people are to misconstrue your words. You literally said that you will guide your children on what you think is right but you don’t/ can’t force them to believe in anything. People somehow still have a problem with this.

there is an argument to be made that it is manipulative though. because you teach the children about hell and it scares them into believing. so, yes, it is pushing a religion onto them. educating them and allowing them to make their own choices is the best. and that includes educating them on all religions/ atheists, etc.
