@drpauljarrodfrank: Aging doesn’t always happen gradually. Sometimes, it happens in bursts. In evolutionary biology, there’s a concept called punctuated equilibrium: long periods of relative stability interrupted by periods of rapid change. I believe aging can behave in a similar way. Think about puberty, pregnancy, menopause, major weight loss, illness, stress, or simply reaching certain stages of life. We can look relatively unchanged for years, and then suddenly notice significant shifts in our skin, facial structure, body, hair, or overall health. Understanding these periods of punctuated aging can change the way we approach aesthetic medicine. Instead of treating aging as a steady decline, the goal is to recognize when your body is entering a period of change and determine when to intervene, when to maintain, and when to wait. Timing matters. The right treatment at the right stage can be very different from simply doing more treatment. And not taking advantage of many of the things you listed is one of the reasons why some 50, 60 and 70 year olds look and act like they are on deaths door and others look 10,20 yrs younger and are thriving

Mine happened at 65yo. OMG! I still count my blessings because I’m a bit ahead of the curve because I am conscientious about diet and lifting weights/playing tennis.
