When a bowl of water was placed at its mouth, a float activated valves inside the hidden mechanism. Water moved between sealed chambers, lowering the air pressure inside. That pressure difference pulled water from the bowl through the bull’s mouth, making it appear to drink by itself. Water also passed over a staircase-like surface inside the mechanism, producing a sound like a thirsty animal. No electricity or motor. Just gravity, floats, valves, water and air pressure.
