A Sierra Leone Supreme Court decision specifically held that a claimant must prove the strength of their own title and, where necessary, establish that the predecessor in title had a valid title to pass.

Possession is different from ownership. But if government is claiming ownership of all the lands in the country, why e nor dae regulate the price for d sale of land but lef am completely at d discretion of the 'vendors'?

When u are given something to sell , there’s a transfer of possession and not ownership therefore u are In possession because the owner wants u to posses it for a certain function and reason. The owner retains ownership and can take it at anytime , therefore if u are asked to sell a land on behalf of someone u are just acting as an agent and not owner , that is why its not your name and signature on the documents and legally it is very important to get clarification from the owner if he’s alive before buying a land .

For me i dont think there is any problem witj the reform in land governance throigh registration of title. For example when the owner buys a car and registered it he or she is issued with life card, when he wants to sell there must be a transfer of Ownership. thats what gonna happen in the land governance
