I'm an English teacher. Mga Chinese tinuturuan ko. Yung isa kong student tinatanong ako ano daw mga tinake kong extracurricular activities nung nag aaral ako. Sa kanila kasi normal mag aral ng swimming, sports and musical instruments. Yung isa naman bakit daw adult nako di ako marunong mag drive😭. Grabe doon ko nakita gaano tayo ka-poor pilipinas.

I can't even drive a car. We never had a car growing up and even in adulthood, I couldn't afford them.

This is what I mean when I say I want to get my family out of poverty. To experience what I have now. Learning new skills, new languages, have hobbies, all of these while getting paid enough to live comfortably. Most people are not lazy to do other things than just working. They just dont have the financial freedom to do so. For now, I just have to enjoy it alone then I can share it to them when my cup is full.

Exactly. I never knew how to awim. I never had any dream. I never had any passion for anything. Passion is for the rich and privileged. I only knew how to get by. How to survive. How to be grateful to be able to eat and have a roof over my head. I dont dream. I don't love. I don't feel joy.

I feel sad for people na hindi nagawa yung mga gusto nila, mga taong hindi pa nakaka travel kahit locally at hindi pa nila nakita ibang mga lugar na magaganda. Mga taong may pangarap pero dahil sa poverty hindi nila na achieve ☹️

I did not have any hobbies, learned instruments i want, and any sports because we physically don't have any means to afford them. Mahirap maging mahirap. Kasi lahat ng kita kailangan ilatag sa hapag, ipangkain, at ipambayad sa mga bills. :(
