The fun thing was, I did the household for me and my parents completely alone, and when I left home to study abroad, my mom told everyone that I'm totally unable to lead my own household, because when I visited them, I brought my laundry (for time reasons) to wash it at my parent's. Myself!

i left home when i was 17 years old (almost 18 - i finished school ) to escape my narcissistic parents who never did anything for me - I always did everything for myself 👍

I started living with my mother again after 10 years cause she wasn't able to mantain a stable job due to illness mostly caised by her mental state. It has been a nightmare, I cant do any task, no matter how simple it is, if I'm closing a ziploc bag she tells me, "I'll do it". Its so exhausting, I have to tell her I'm capable of doing every little task.
