The manipulation by it’s self isn’t enough. The candle then needs to close back below/above the previous candle body high/low. Just looking for the manipulation is a coin flip. Even in his own charted example, look at the blue candle at the top. If all you did was look for manipulation, you’d assume a continuation of the upside.
