As a 7 year Toyota dealership employee I can confirm this is partially true as I have the direct email from our FS rep. YES only Toyota or Lexus dealers can pay off Toyota/Lexus Financial LEASES starting October 1 even if customer is buying out their lease. NO you will not have to go to originating dealer.
