I remember when they crossed that river a couple of years ago. I was worried It would be a disaster. now Ukraine has taken it back. What took Russia near 2 years to capture, ukraine take back in a month. Thats amazing

Your info is off. In other posts and statements they said Vivaldi was the name of the offensive that had already taken place, clearing the russian bridgehead. This is all past information, but presented like it's today

They might gain couple kilometers here and there, but calling it "Phase One of a large counter offensive" is misleading, winter is coming, and as always in that part of the world, and as in all 4 winters so far in that war, and as in any otner war ever faught there, the fighting will grind to a complete halt when the ice covers everything and snowy/ muddy terrain makes it impossible to move, till next spring. It is what it is. And while the front is at a standstill, drones and missiles will keep hitting the energy infrastructure of both sides, I have a feeling though that Ukrainian civilians will be hit harder- and suffer much more than Russians, and a new wave of refugees will escape their freezing apartments to try find aid and shelter in Western Europe, which is already burdened with 4.5 million Ukrainian refugees. Many more will come, unfortunately.

It happens all the time the Russian will give them advantage and retreat from A to B. Then they will cut supply lines then exhausting the counteroffensive people eventually they will be history
