the only issue with this is you arent just getting the pure drum kit. you are getting each piece of the kit fully processed and compressed to match the song it was in.
makes blending it into a new song you haven't done all that processing and stuff on difficult.
it makes adding pluggins to the master track very tricky. because you want to glue the whole song together, but tye drums are alr glued and compressed amd e.q.ed to the specifications of whatever song you ripped it from.
adding things like compression to the master track will make the rest of the song sound nice amd uniform, but the drums will be so overcompressed they will sound like rubber clicks.
maybe there's a way around this somehow? but idk what that would be. it's a really cool idea and achievement honestly, but not super practical for workflow or the end result

I had the pleasure of making a game and remixing the Michael Jackson tracks and surroundsound. I had all the original stems kicks their hats, base keyboards, lead, background, vocals, etc. Probably someday the AI or stem separation will be high-quality, but I certainly can tell the difference between what I work with and what I’m hearing here. But it is getting interesting for sure. And of course you’re recording this in a room so I’ll I would leave some space for room sound changing the drum sounds as well but I do know those sounds.

This is true, and you literally can also do this with chat GPT-6. Link it to your DAW. There's plenty of videos showing you how, even though it's only been out for a week. You could literally take that Michael Jackson track and tell it to EQ your drums. Exactly the same. Hell, it can even mix and master the track for $100 a month.

My Streaks are Gone 😔 :
This has been a thing for awhile. Also, If you separate a sample into 3 EQ regions and adjust the tail of each one you can create a perfect copy.
