This is the red flag version of guys having a notes app with all your favorite things. Writing down your favorites so you don’t forget or can get her an exact order is sweet, outsourcing all of that information to a 3rd person who then has to remind you is gross!

I'm not shocked AT ALL! Thank you for highlighting this type of behavior. My collective experience for men I've worked for goes somewhat like this... I purchased birthday cards for his children/grandchildren, anniversary cards for his wife, sympathy cards & flowers for every occasion and every type of relationship... I was a sounding board for conversation topics for events. I'd provide notes about interests of the people he's meeting, both professional and personal.
