Truth but that Dr. who yells at you every time and makes you feel like quitting, is not thinking about the fact that you have a sick kid at home. That patient who spit on you and everyone else may have a horrible life but he’s not thinking about all the stress you are under. Just saying it goes both ways. We need to give grace when it is deserved but habitual abuse is wrong.

As an ER nurse, I tell my 3 babies, being kind is free. The ones who are mean, or brush you off, offer them extra love because they likely don’t have it at home.
