Both work! The glass draws a little more attention to itself, which I like as a focal point. Both could be hung a tad lower, 30-36in above the tabletop

Both look stunning but the brown in the glass complements the table and (in my opinion) makes the space look more cohesive 🌻

I prefer wipable lighting over eating areas, so the old one. You could also look at olde brick lighting co. I love their milk glass options.

I like the vintage glass! It adds a little more contrast, which balances out the darker table.

The wicker is more of a cottage-core look while the glass one is a 70s, retro look. Wicker is softer and more feminine.
