@henrycavill1983_: Another superbly elegant evening with Longines this last weekend. Having the privilege of wearing a Longines as well as Tom Ford made my week! A huge thank you to everyone at Longines for making the event so enjoyable.....and letting me talk about BBQ so much. Now dear readers, have a look at the close ups of my watch to reveal it's true beauty - It's from the redesigned Master Collection which leans towards the more heritage and vintage styles, falling perfectly inline with my own tastes. I had the frosted blue, Longines signature barleycorn dial with rhodium plated, Arabic numerals. The dial is beautiful in all lights but it really pops in the most magnificent way in daylight. It has a stylish stainless steel 41mm case being 48.60mm lug to lug. It's the perfect size for my wrist (which aren't as big as you think!). Stunningly elegant and balanced, with a thickness of 12.60mm which keeps it subtle despite being a chronograph. The monopusher gives it that incredible callback to the utility pieces that these watches used to be. Perhaps no longer saving lives, like they used to, unless you are using the pulsometer in a pinch (!), but the romance of the history sits on the wrist in a beautiful way. It has a power reserve of 68 hours, so will last a weekend off the wrist before you need to wind it! I have to say, that after spending a few days with this watch, it is fast becoming my favourite. Oh and it also has an anthracite Alligator strap with a triple-folding safety clasp, a push piece opener and very handy microadjuster! Gotta love a microadjuster!
