@reporter.timmylane: BE ON THE LOOKOUT: INMATE ESCAPE FROM A CADDO DEPUTY AT OCHSNER HEALTH HOSPITAL The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is actively searching for an inmate who escaped from a deputy's custody while being transported from Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. At approximately 10:15 p.m., Tre'veon Jackson, 24, fled on foot from outside Ochsner LSU Health, located at 1501 Kings Highway in Shreveport. Jackson escaped as a Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was preparing to place him in a transport van for his return to the Caddo Correctional Center. The deputy immediately pursued Jackson on foot, but Jackson was able to evade capture. Multiple law enforcement agencies are assisting in the search, including the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Shreveport Police Department, LSU Medical Center Police, and the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office Air Patrol. Jackson should be considered armed and dangerous due to the serious charges for which he is currently being held. Members of the public should not approach or attempt to apprehend him. Anyone who sees Jackson should immediately call 911 and provide his location, direction of travel, and any other relevant information to law enforcement.
