We’re organising a GBV awareness march here in Cape Town and want to bring our community together to stand against gender-based violence. We’re currently working on getting the necessary permit, and official details will be shared once confirmed. If you’d like to support, participate or help us spread the word, please reach out to us.

South African women are tired of being told to “be careful” while the people killing us are still free. In 1956, 20,000 women went to the Union Buildings, stood in silence for 30 minutes, and made the country listen. We need that same peaceful, united action now: a women-led silent march demanding urgent investigations, accountability, safe public spaces and real action against GBV. We are not asking for permission to be safe. #WomenOfSouthAfrica #EndGBV #WathintaAbafazi..
