On my way home from work with a friend, I witnessed an orange cat get hit by a car. I immediately pulled over and rushed over to help. A nearby resident told me that the cat wasn't actually a stray. Its owner had cruelly abandoned it simply because it was shedding too much. For the past few days, the poor cat had been wandering around this area, desperately waiting and hoping that its owner would come back. I took it to the hospital for an examination. Thankfully, its injuries weren't too serious. But when I brought it home, I couldn't hold back my tears. This little one can't speak, but deep down, it understands perfectly well that it has been abandoned.
