The meat industry uses enormous amounts of water, from growing animal feed to raising livestock and processing meat. It also contributes heavily to environmental destruction through deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, habitat loss, water pollution, and soil degradation. Beyond these environmental impacts, eating animals raises an ethical concern: animals are sentient beings capable of experiencing pain, fear, and suffering, so killing them for food can be viewed as immoral when plant-based alternatives are available. #vegetarian #vegan #nestle #ai #water
