i belive evolution and genesis are totally compatible, a lot of the bible is figurative and need interpretation. like... 7 days.. but for GOD, what are 7 days. also if im not wrong, the [day] word in hebrew meant "Era" or an unspecified quantity of time

its weird when people think that a God that can create ALL OF EXISTENCE. somehow cant make all the first beings and creatures with age and maturity from the start. the non believer creates their own weak version of God then yell" pff id never praise a god like that". yeah.. me neither. thats exactly why we dont. Imagine you're the first human God made. You have no idea what sin is and you literally see/walk with God daily. How long would it take you to learn how to sin/disobey God? I bet it took several millenia for them to figure out how to sin, maybe even millions of years. Also, after the fall, God cursed snakes to crawl on their belly. Before the fall, there were snakes with legs.

i dont believe in young earth creationism but an argument can actually be made for it. God can create everything, including history and processes that never happened, obviously, since he's omnipotent. It wouldn't contradict logic since Adam and Eve were both made adults at "conception" and were the first humans, even though evolution is a real phenomenon in nature, though I dont believe its random.

I grew up believing in a version of gap theory for the longest part of my childhood. Gap theory is that version of old earth creationism where they insert billions of years between verses 1-2 of Genesis 1. Then between 2002 and 2010, I wasted 8 years believing in young earth creationism. After August 2010, I then finally converted to day-age creationism. This the version of old earth creationism you immediately think of when you hear "old earth creationism". So yes, I do accept the billions of years in mainstream science. No, I don't see a conflict between billions of years and the Bible.

There’s also a thought experiment called Last Thursdayism which states that everything was created last Thursday, including you and I, but it was created with inbuilt age and our neural network already formed. Atheist are more willing to discuss Last Thursdayism than they are with Young Earth Creationism which I find amusing. They’ll entertain any idea but God.

The Bible does not state that the Earth to 6000 years old 6000 years ago, the first sin happened in time began for that all mankind was like God and immortal, but when they caused sin, they started the decay and it took like 900 years for the first person to die. After that slowly it went down to 120 but before that there was no time that’s why the Earth is so old.

Have you read John Walton's book "The Lost World of Genesis One"? It does a good job of explaining Gen 1 from a context of creating systems instead of creating substance. Looking it at that way then evolution and creationism aren't in conflict.
