Visiting the 9/11 Memorial was an incredibly emotional and meaningful experience for me. I will never forget September 11, 2001. That day, I was in the hospital preparing to give birth to my daughter, who is now 25 years old. While I was getting ready to welcome a new life into the world, our country was experiencing one of the darkest and most heartbreaking moments in history.🇺🇸 For years, I had wanted to visit the memorial to pay my respects to all the innocent people who lost their lives that day, as well as the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives while trying to save others. Standing there, seeing the names and hearing the waterfalls, was an experience I will never forget. It was beautiful, peaceful, and heartbreaking all at once. Visiting 25 years later made me reflect on how much life has changed since that day. I am grateful that I finally had the opportunity to visit, remember, and honor those who were taken from us far too soon.
