The doc isn’t out yet it was js the premiere some people have seen it and said a few things. But the reason why AE was all over the place was because Lisa in the doc explained she was held back a lot. She said she felt like a person who couldn’t haven’t thoughts and opinions in yg. So she’s very confused abt who she really is and that one year break she and the girls had form bp was to find herself and learn abt herself. The vision was there the alter egos make sense the songs on their own sound great but the execution was terrible especially in an album layout it js didn’t work.

Companies do try to silence it till it stops -mark lee is having this problem because he is the company he cant silence it out . Agreed educate urself and never do it again

While i think it’s a start i’m a bit iffy. For one addressing something that was leaked over a year ago in a documentary people have pay to see is something. I am glad she addressed it, but i think it could have been addressed differently. For one she doesn’t state the exact community she hurt and while i do think YG and other companies can silence artists, i also think that some accountability deeper than “i was young and didn’t know better” is enough. As for rose and jennie an apology after this one would look very forced, and i agree with the fact that them being from english speaking countries makes it worse. And another thing is Jennie herself apparently said they got to choose songs and they would purposefully not say certain words but would say the n word so it’s a bit weird to me ngl😭

In my opinion I don’t cancel ppl just bc they said the n word one time years ago… that doesn’t mean they are racist. Also I think the n word is not talked about in schools in other countries like in Puerto Rico … lol race or even American history of racism is not learn. So imagine Thailand. Yikes. BUT I also feel bp get away with things that others are still dragged . Why? Bc they are girls? She didn’t apologize btw. She just said that she was naive and the company gave her the songs . Didn’t address the community she hurt . She seems ignorant still with the way she do the appropriation. What the other bp members will do next ? Ignore bc Lisa talk? They act as if nothing is happening and that’s is problematic to me. But again I’m not their fan so….
