Makes me think of the "Steven! I thought you were dead!" meme. I used to do this all the time with my rabbit, and he wasn't even elderly. He just liked to sleep in the most corpse way possible

once I was going to sleep when my dog got out of her bed and just sorta... splatted? and she old with a sht tone of medical things so I was like quietly calling her but she didn't move and so I tried to shake her but she still didn't move and I was getting so scared cuz it didn't look like she was breathing but then she let out the biggest ass yawn ever

We had a deaf cat and when he was out, he was OUT! Like the amount of times we thought he was gone because you could lift a limb up and it was floppy was unreal
