I recall, about twenty years ago in Manchester. UK, there was an incredibly loud trumpet note that sounded out. By 'incredibly loud', I'm not just referring to someone's speaker cranked way up high, I'm talking it filled the air. There were a lot of reports about it at the time. Very odd, never heard it again.
