Tbh, the leaked pilot script didn't interest me very much. I know it wasn't the final pilot script, but the general plot was meh to me. I wish they had done a mosaic narrative instead where we could follow different slayers since there are a ton now

My theory is they want to wait until the og cast is ‘too old’ and do a full reboot, new Buffy, new Willow, etc etc. So they can stop using Sarah’s likeness on merch and not have to pay her executive producer money for her involvement.

I was happy when I heard that they were gonna reboot it with somebody new but I don’t believe it would’ve had the same feeling even though Sara was gonna be involved. It just wouldn’t have been the same and I’m OK with them not redoing it because we still have the whole entire series to rewatch again and again and again. 🥲🥲

if it does come back, I know some people are gonna get mad when I say this, but David looks too old to be playing angel vampires do not age now the guy that plays a spike James he still looks good but he has also aged and like I said vampires don’t age unless they put a lot of makeup on them or CGI their faces. I don’t know how she’s gonna work that in because when she was trying to bring it to Hulu, she did ask the guy that plays spike to come back and he said yes but of course it didn’t happen but unless they both become human, I don’t know how she’s gonna work this. I’m not an angel fan. I’m sorry I’m a spike fan and I have my reasons. Why if you wanna know, I will let you know why but anyways they’re both too old the guy that plays his angel on Spike. They’re both too old now I think she waited too long and I feel like that is the problem I want to come back really bad, but we’ll see.
