To clarify: Yes DEI INCLUDES Asian however, in practice Asians were the mostly overlooked. So yeah he is partially wrong. Asians were part of DEI but was an underrepresented minority who hardly benefitted from the program.

I totally get this. However, does the school want the introverted Asian who may not necessary contribute back to the school or the DEI Who has a lower score, still graduates, but contributes more to the university because they’re more sociable.
