On June 18, 2025, I, MC Ishmael, together with my team, travelled to Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency to document an abandoned cluster of school buildings completed under the NPP government. At the time, I asked a simple question: Why is a completed school project being left unused while children in that same constituency continue to learn under trees? Fast-forward to last week—over a year later—and instead of putting the completed school to use, the NDC government has reportedly sent excavators to the site to demolish the structure for what it describes as a 24-hour economy market. Seriously? 🤦🏾‍♂️ So we can abandon a completed school, allow children to study under trees, and then bring excavators to demolish the school for a market? Is this how we are building a country for the future? I posted this video LAST YEAR. Today, the developments surrounding this project make the questions I raised even more relevant. This is exactly why I keep saying: MC Ishmael doesn’t just make noise on social media. I go to the ground, document what I see, and ask the questions that those in power would rather avoid. If this is what the so-called 24-hour economy means, then Ghanaians deserve to ask: Where is the long-term vision? Where is the priority for our children? And who exactly is thinking about tomorrow? Ghana must do better. Our children deserve better. 🇬🇭 #viral?videotiktok😇😇 #ghanatiktokers🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭 #viraltiktok #foryoupage❤️❤️
