Extrude the word: TextGeometry with depth around 0.3, bevelEnabled true, bevelSize 0.02. Flat text will never catch light 2. The rainbow is one property, not a texture. MeshPhysicalMaterial with iridescence: 1, iridescenceIOR: 1.9, iridescenceThicknessRange: [100, 800], metalness 1, roughness 0.15 3. Feed it an envMap. Iridescence only shows where there is something to reflect, on a black scene it looks dead 4. The shards: duplicate the geometry, break it into 30 to 60 planes, and offset each one on Z with a random rotation of about 0.3 radians. Let them overlap the letterforms 5. Drift them on mouse move, different depth multiplier per shard, so the word feels like it is coming apart in real space 6. Grid behind it at 6% white. The grid is what gives the shards somewhere to float The real site runs on WebGL with GSAP and Lottie. The material recipe transfers to any build.
