IF YOU EVER HAVE TO CALL 911 ON YOUR LOVED ONE FOR SOMETHING OF THIS NATURE. Please please please verbally tell them on the phone to bring a crisis de-escalator, and to please attempt less-lethal forms of force. You can’t control what happens when they show up. But this way it’s documented that those things were asked for, should have been available, and if they weren’t used they would have to seriously answer WHY it wasn’t used when they were informed of the situation, crisis de-escalation and that forms of less lethal force were brought up.

I know it’s hard to know in the heat of the moment what’s going on but I sure would hope that they would minimize the suspect actions with a bag bean gun, a taser or worst case scenario in the leg or the arm somewhere less life-threatening

So the police can’t use beanbag guns, tasers, pepper spray, pepper balls all the things that they’re disposed is not lethal. They can stop this man in his track but yet they just chose to use their guns. Smh
