@savechildrenuk: At Save the Children we're passionate about young people's voices being heard by decision makers. It's why @Save the Children NI has been supporting teenagers from @St Peter’s Immaculata YC in West Belfast to speak up about issues that impact them as young people. Their Youth Group Leader, Stephen, is on a mission to give them the tools, confidence and platform to share the issues that matter to them and influence other young people. We ran a workshop with children recently to help them share their experiences of the challenges of growing up in Northern Ireland, understand the impact and importance of youth centres and find out what changes they want to see in their community.

Stephen known to us as bosley was one of the few people in my life growing up who really loved and cared for all of us in ardoyne youth club. He pushed me to see things differently, fight for things as a girl in a time where boys and sports were the only thing that mattered, my nickname was giggsy. without him i wouldn't have went on to perform at the level i did. thank you Stephen. 🥰
