I’ve always hated the idea that only certain jobs are worthy of living comfortably on. Some people want to be rocket scientists, some are content working in retail. Both are important!

being a librarian would've been a career choice from me but the need for a masters degree was an absolutely not. maybe if there wasn't a huge essay requirement to graduate I'd go but I hate academic writing so bad

I love my librarians, and I donate to my local libraries as much as I can, and I sign up for all the cool adult classes. I hope people showing up will show our local government how IMPORTANT y'all are. I stay informed and my library had kids events EVERY WEEK all summer. honestly, some cool stuff that I would have enjoyed, but I love that my local kiddos got to have that space for just them.
