@melissajbyrnex: One thing that is not spoken about enough is Hypersexuality as a result of SA and how that can then lead to toxic behaviours. As always, please be mindful in the comments. It’s not just me reading them 🫶🏼
Something I really appreciate about your videos is that when you talk about these subjects, you don’t censor any words. I think it’s really important to not contribute to that taboo. I really appreciate your openness

I relate to this so deeply. I remember chasing that high and id always cry afterwards because I felt dirty and wrong and I thought i was alone which only made me hide the abuse more.

I hope this is reassuring - there is so much more to RSHE education in schools now than what you’ve described. If you’re interested, take a look at the statutory RSHE guidance that’s in place. I’m sorry you went through this and felt so alone and ashamed 💕

I relate to this, unfortunately. I had a habit of seeking it, and then SH’ing after because I felt disgusted with myself. But I looked into the reasons why I wanted to seek it all the time. When you go through something traumatic, your brain struggles to process it. So it seeks out the same thing/ similar things over and over again to try and understand it. I’m not saying this applies to everyone, because there is also a control aspect to it, but when I found this out I found it easier to let go of the shame and disgust I held against myself. I’m sharing this hoping that it will also help someone else🫶🏻

i came to a realisation not long ago! i dont know really how to process it, maybe im crazy but we had a lodger years ago he was my Dads friend who had split up with his partner and stayed with us, he would always get me to sit on his lap and he would slowly rub himself on me. And at a young age i wanted to keep feeling that sensation, ok he didnt do anything else but he would do that! so i would self pleasure alot. i dont know what to think tbh!
