As a child, a dentist had his hand in my mouth and I was gagging and he slapped me on the leg. Also, as I was older the dentist hit a nerve and I almost came out of the chair.

The dentist stepped on the suction cord and nearly almost ripped my cheek off. The corner of my mouth got injured. From the suction being hooked on it and then it getting stepped on. So painful. I don’t know the correct terms so hopefully this makes sense lol.

My top right canine was impacted in the roof of my mouth. They tried to pull it down for 2 1/2 years with braces and a chain. It never came down so I had to have surgery and I woke up in the middle of the surgery with the top of my mouth cut open with two flaps of skin hanging.

The dental hygienist worked one quadrant deep cleaning for two hours with my mouth open the whole time with no break. I could not eat chew or talk normal for over two weeks. They gave me an antibiotic for some reason after I complained the first week that didn’t do anything it just literally took time over a month.

Had my first implant which went well, until the crown placement, ouch! 2 years later, nerve damage which is causing head pain daily! Still, no specialist can figure this out! I even had trigger point and Botox injections without any relief! Help…….please……..

Went to aspen dental to get 2 fillings and he didn’t even numb my top lip only my bottom lip and I felt everything worst pain of my life DO NOT GO TO ASPEN

Multiple metal injections to the top of my gums to sedate them for removal of my molars as a child, no one believed I could feel still after all the medicine they gave me so they just did it anyways. I had to feel everything while they ripped my teeth out.

One dentist told me I had a cavity. He seemed shady. Went to another, no cavity found. Years later, someone I knew was in a medical malpractice lawsuit with the shady dentist because he performed several unnecessary root canals.

one dentist told me, I had a ton of cavities, and that it was going to cost a lot of money, so I went to another dentist and did not have one cavity. i feel like some of them are just about money. plus my teeth are super sensitive. And when I let them know to numb me before they do anything, even just poke at my teeth, they don't care enough to listen

Had a cracked tooth. Had to have it crowned. The crown was too tight against adjacent tooth and caused the good tooth to crack. Lost that tooth. 😩

As a dental assistant, most patients seem to have trauma as kids which is so sad because I feel like that’s harder to overcome.
