Biology is my favorite science. In a way, it has also become my field of study. As children, the world often feels chaotic, unpredictable, sometimes frightening, and sometimes endlessly fascinating. As we grow, we gradually begin to learn the laws that govern it. Some of them seem difficult to understand, others may even appear boring at first, but they all reveal just how extraordinary reality truly is. Yet biology holds a special place. Because biology is us. We can admire the beauty of the laws of physics, elegant mathematical equations, or the way the universe follows fundamental principles. But the beauty of radiolarians, endemic plants, fungi, coral reefs, neurons, or the development of life itself is, in my opinion, almost impossible to surpass. I don’t love biology only because it is beautiful. Everything that truly matters to us is connected to life in one way or another. We are living organisms ourselves, and biology helps us understand how our bodies work, why such an incredible diversity of species exists, how billions of cells become a single organism, and how life has managed to thrive on Earth for nearly four billion years. Thanks to biology, we have modern medicines, vaccines, transplantation, genetics, biotechnology, next-generation agriculture, and countless innovations that improve the quality of life for millions of people every day. Today, biologists are growing tissues, studying genomes, developing new therapies, and helping preserve the planet’s biodiversity. #Biology #Science #edit #life #Nature
