It’s sad Matt’s kids have all tried to save that farm. It’s Matt who didn’t want it to be saved. He can’t let go of control and if he can’t run it anymore then he doesn’t want anyone else to. Which is sad because he raised his kids to all believe it would be a family farm. Hard to let that go as a child and not resent your dad for it I’m sure

People are missing a prudent point here. I suggest everyone listen to the sentiment Steve Irwin shared about his life’s work and “passing the football” to his children one day if they so desired to run with the ball. As a halfway respectable parent, THAT is what you pour your life and soul into your legacy for. And these were adult(s) that profited purely off marketing that sentimental story line for YEARS. They fooled the world and, from an outside lense, robbed the child(ren) who value the land, the sentiment, and the natural world they were raised being deeply connected to of what should be theirs to cultivate. I am deeply disappointed to hear this, Jacob, but sending you and Isabel well wishes wherever your journey takes you next.
