It’s so bad! It’s beyond people living on the streets it’s literally scrap and garbage pouring into the street.

We need institutions where these people can be helped and monitored. Letting them fend for themselves on the streets is obviously, not working

Somewhat of the problem with the homeless camps is not necessarily the people that try to live there. Is the people that use their camps as an excuse to dump their garbage. Those that live there actually only put up what they need. The garbage is other people that come in and just dump it. When I was growing up in a small farming community, we had a dream that ran far behind our house. Every now and then, somebody would come in with a pick up truck and just dump their old junk in that stream. They thought they could. It’s the same thing around the homeless camps. People come in with pickups or even dump trucks, and just unload their garbage because they think they can get away with it. It’s not the homeless. It’s the people that bring in their garbage and dump it there.

Mind you the city of Berkeley spends $30k/person/YEAR on homelessness. Where is all that money going. Probably creating the homelessness industrial complex where the government doesn't actually want the issue to be solved so they can keep pocketing money

Nine out of ten people on the street don’t want help! So why couldn’t these agencies help them while these encampments are up?!

Some people don’t wanna participate in the rat race. we as a society have deemed that unacceptable and a punishable crime

Yea they’re sending them to drug rehab program. And a life accountability program. Along with a job program. So that in time they can get their own place. Also signing them up for a volunteer program to start right away. Cleaning up their community that they love so much.

Let's look at America's immigration policies. As an American citizen, I need two forms of valid ID, proof of income, a rental history, background and credit check, and first and last months rent with a deposit not to mention the nonrefundable application fee if I want to move. A "refugee" has none of these things and is able to move right on into a house/apartment. This is only possible because the government will buy/rent places for these "refugees". Every time the government has let refugees into the country, prices have increased. The property values in the areas the government uses will increase. An apartment complex rents 10 apartments to the government for 2 years at $1000.00/mo, the owner of that complex will take the money, paint the buildings, pave the parking lot, and raise the rent on the American citizens that are already struggling with bills. Now that same apartment is $1500.00 and when the government shows up again, what do you think is going to happen? The property values in the area will rise causing landlords to raise their rents and home owners will be forced to pay higher taxes. Causing people to ask for raises and increasing inflation.
