You've misunderstood. We don't own our games. They know that but they lie on the store page to hide it from customers. That is part of what they are being sued over is lying to customers.

The lawyer said no one would believe a single person could own a game in its entirety, that reasonable consumers inherently understand that buying a digital game only grants a revocable, limited license. With god of war, it just says owners as in someone who (purchased a licence, owns a licence), not the game in its entirety.

It's been in the TOS for years. Not just Sony. Xbox, Steam, Amazon, Google, Epic, Apple, Blizzard... etc It's been common knowledge for a long time now. It's amazing people still did not know this.
