@light.up.the.midni: Fear of Allah purifies the heart. We all enter this world pure, free from heart diseases such as laziness, arrogance, and dishonesty. As we grow up, the more life experience we gain, the more dark spots attach to our hearts. The more dirt we attract, the further we move from our purity. To remain pure, we must fear Allah and adhere to His religion, Islam. Furthermore, to possess supreme knowledge, we must fear Allah. This knowledge is not for everyone; it is the best of all knowledge. It is not written in books, as it has only one place that can keep it secure: a purified heart. That knowledge is knowing Allah. How do we know we know Allah? When we fear Allah. How do we know we fear Allah? When we stop disregarding His commandments or causing harm to others. وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ “Be mindful of Allah, for Allah ˹is the One Who˺ teaches you. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.” Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 282 Credit: Cheikh Lo.
