The government makes promises and pledges, yet repeatedly fails to honour them. There is little accountability for these failures, which creates the impression that they either do not care or believe they will never be held responsible. This raises a serious question: what example are they setting—particularly within the legal system itself? Too many civil servants enter government straight from university with little or no real-world experience. Many are overwhelmingly left-leaning and too often confuse ideology with sound judgment. Intelligence alone is not a substitute for common sense. Civil servants are meant to serve the nation impartially, not their own political beliefs, yet this distinction appears to have been lost—especially in departments such as the Home Office. A lack of practical common sense is increasingly evident. As the saying goes, common sense is like deodorant: those who need it most rarely use.

He is Stuck 🥺 The money has gone, the private sector can't absorb Revees tax hikes and is contracting and laying people off. Unemployment is going up and the Bond market has had a complete loss of sense of humour with him!! The Government has 3 leavers to get money 1) Increase tax intake but we have already gone over the Laffer curve. 2) The bond market but they now want nearly 6% on a 30 year Coupon. 3) Cut government spending... His back benches think it's 1997 and we have the gold in reserves and debt to GDP of under 40% 🤣🤣 they want to spend spend spend...
