The 2019 story took his position out of context, but it still cost him his NHS post. He'd never had a single patient complaint in his career, and colleagues in different departments privately told him they agreed with his stance on cholesterol and statins, they just weren't willing to say so publicly. He still hasn't been let back into the NHS. But lowering cholesterol is not the full story . I think it’s a very complicated issue and it’s one of the biggest money making drug . If it’s so good and people taking it still die of heart disease?

Interesting that a woman reached out to Dr. Alo today, saying she had terrible heart disease. Had a heart attack and required bypass surgery following the advice of this man here…
