My MIL told me once that my daughter is disabled because of my “sins” I did prior to having her. Yes let’s punish the children for life for their parents normal teenage behavior. Make it make sense. That’s not a god I want in my life.

I hate the free will argument too. “Well the bad things happen because god gave us free will and some people are bad” okay but if he didn’t give us free will we would never know so why wouldn’t he just make sure “his children” would all be safe instead of giving anyone the opportunity to hurt others like what. There’s just so many reasons other than just that why it’s a dumb argument, and it’s always the one they turn to.
