@drenchmansports: If you DON’T think Arch Manning is the unanimous no1 QB, then this post isn’t for you. I’m strictly addressing the people who already have Arch Manning penciled in as the unanimous no1 pick in the NFL Draft. My issue is simple— We’ve watched plenty of college QBs have GREAT seasons, put great film on tape, and STILL have people searching for reasons to question whether they can be an NFL quarterback. So why does it feel like Arch is exempt from that same criticism? I get it. Having the last name Manning puts you under a different spotlight, and maybe some of that is unfair. I’m not naive to that. But we watched Shedeur Sanders have an incredible season at Colorado and people STILL said he wasn’t an NFL quarterback. We watched Lamar Jackson dominate college football and people questioned whether he could play quarterback in the NFL. We watched Jalen Hurts produce and still get doubted. We’ve seen this happen OVER AND OVER again. So when Arch gets labeled the unanimous no 1 pick before he’s shown the same level of dominance, I’m going to question it.
