@arsenioeats: Arsenio’s Butter Chicken Grilled Cheese 🧀🍛 Not claiming this is authentic butter chicken… I’m just saying it’s GOOD. 😂 And dipping a crispy grilled cheese into that creamy, spiced sauce? Yeah. We’re doing that. Butter Chicken Marinade 2 chicken breasts, cubed 2 tbsp avocado oil 1 tbsp yogurt 1 tsp grated ginger Juice of ½ lemon 2 tsp garam masala 1½ tsp turmeric 2 tsp cumin 2 tsp chili powder 1½ tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garlic powder Mix everything together and marinate for at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better. Sauce Avocado oil + butter, for cooking the chicken 1 tbsp unsalted butter, for deglazing ¼ red onion, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 cup crushed tomatoes 2 tsp garam masala 1½ tsp turmeric(taste and ajust) 2 tsp cumin 2 tsp chili powder ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp salt 1 cup heavy cream Cook the marinated chicken in avocado oil and butter until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter to deglaze. Add the red onion and garlic and cook until softened. Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and spices. Let everything cook down. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens. Add the chicken back in and coat everything in that sauce. Grilled Cheese Sourdough bread Butter Mozzarella Cheddar Butter both sides of the sourdough. Add mozzarella and cheddar, then cook in a pan with the lid on over low heat until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden and crispy. Cut it up, dip it straight into that butter chicken, and enjoy. I hope it crunches.
