Mind you the masses missed the point so badly that Purge had to make anthology. They even made a predominantly-blk cast for purge and folks still missed the plot 😭😩 The First Purge is such a good installment to the series. Thank for making this video.

and what's crazy is the subsequent movies in the chronological purge timeline are all about the gov't STILL controlling and artificially amplifying the purge while the poorest (black characters) STILL sheltered together, protected one another as a community and/or fought back AGAINST the rich/the govt. entities involved in keeping the purge going to prevent it from continuing IN RETALIATION. one of my fav social commentary thriller film series fr.
