The one who overreacts doesn’t get paid enough to do this on the regular basis so they are so excited because they don’t get to see themselves feel that pretty all the time. Where is the second one is used to being financially stable enough to get their nails done every week so they have just become less grateful about it. That first person wishes they could come back to you. They just can’t afford it.

I may be odd but also I don’t like developing a “relationship” with my service providers (i don’t mean this in a weird way), I prefer you feel like a stranger. Even when you go to the Chinese nail salon and get the same person once in awhile it doesn’t feel like that, having a specific nail tech you go to over and over starts to feel too personal (even if y’all are quiet). Idk. And it’s worse when it’s a one-one-environment for meee
