I know they went bankrupt, but they should’ve never let that location go 😭 if they had turned it into some kind of exhibit, or maybe an indoor amusement center, people would’ve still gone. But it’s a McDonalds now or something 🥲

I remember in high school I was having the worst day of my life, I was crying in the stairwell and a girl from a grade below brought me here. I didn't even know it existed. we had the best time ever and even rode to 🎡 .. it was def a core memory. We weren't friends, she just knew of me but that act of kindness stayed with me forever. 💓 I hope she is doing well in life now 🫶🏾❤️🥹

Umm Anyone Remember MANHATTAN MALL ? The Old Manhattan Mall. They Had KB Toys, The Food Court, BLADES, And More. Times Square Fell Off Miserably. They Use To Have Some Amazing Stores Now It’s Bleh.

Ahhhh the good ole Times Square Toys R Us! Funny story: I went there in 2005 with my fam to celebrate my birthday & then fast forward 10 years later and I’m going to high school around the the corner from there watching it’s final days before closing!

I loved going in there and the giant Barbie house and candy land upstairs, we used to go in the basement for video games my brother wanted to check out and rode the Ferris wheel a few times. I have pictures being on it with my dad!! I was so sad when they announced its closure, even when I was a teenager it was still cool to look around. The giant dinosaur always freaked me out 😂
