The large man was running away meaning the threat was no longer a threat yet the 19 yr old adult shot him in the back because he was angry meaning it was not self defense it was premeditated murder! So 2nd degree murder fits perfectly.

there's what is called disparaging force and if someone is so large you know physical combat is life threatening for you... you have the right to upgrade your means of defense I'm assuming this was a democratic state as most of them your not allowed to defend yourself even in the event of home invasion they protect criminals over law abiding citizens one reason I'll never go to California they are done for
