@drwendy_physicaltherapy: I’m a 46 year old woman in perimenopause, balls deep in the musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause. Widespread joint pain will come for me if I don’t stay on top of all my issues. I spend 10-20 minutes daily doing mobility and targeted exercises for whatever fresh hell is happening in my body. My Achilles tendon has been my greatest problem since perimenopause. Not surprising because of how big that tendon is, but this is also the side I had a high ankle sprain in college. It’s my shorter leg, it’s also my leg I’m prone to having radicular symptoms. I have lots of musculoskeletal issues prior to perimenopause, but perimenopause just took it to a whole other level. Here’s what I did today. (Not in the exact order, but just thrown in and edited with Autocut.)
