I genuinely think this too. Even if some cis dude starts with "I am a man" and ends with "I am a man" its good because exploring WHY they're men, what makes them men not taking body parts into account will only help them understand themselves better

Cis woman here, I don't know about exploring my gender, but I have realised that some feminine leaning things don't work for me (heels, make up, caring about fashion) and some masculine leaning things work good for me (clothing, buzz cut). I understand that these things aren't inherently femme/masc but society often shapes them that way. I'm now more content being a mash up than trying to force myself to be something I'm not 🫶

I fully agree. Unfortunately, too many people are blocked by arbitrarily rigid religious rules, and they're unwilling to bend that (and more harmfully, unwilling to allow others to bend).

im a cis woman and i did explore! I went crazy thought i was a man. then I was like no. then thought i was genderfluid but now im good. im a bisexual woman and comfortable now within myself

Not me sitting next to my bag of hand embroidery supplies as I watch this (it's a skill I'm learning so I can make myself pretty garb). A few years ago I stopped worrying about what was masc or femme and just started doing what I want in terms of colors, clothing styles, and hobbies. It's been very freeing trying new things.

I already do (e.g. i'm the handy woman in my marriage so i'm building the furniture while my husband cooks for us) or do the garden work (including building walls) . At the same time I also like to cook sew. We do raise our daughters like this. Including that you follow what you like to do/wear and not what a stereotype says you 'should '.

I wear a lot of male clothing. Some of the reason is because I’m plus sized and one of the male clothing stores here actually has better fitting clothes then the one plus size section of female clothes has(and better selection of basic clothing that fit a long torso). I also like to dress more masculine or neutral. Love me a flannel shirt over a basic tee. But I also occasionally like to dress like a girly girl. No I am not straight. Depending on who I am talking to it’s bi or queer. Also ace so it’s complicated😂

I thought I was trans from the age of 11-15. I hated being in a female body especially during puberty. I’ve come to realise I’m non binary and go by any pronouns someone wants to use for me.

yeees! for me as a cis man it has been so liberating to venture into "feminine" style. Nail polish, brightly colored earrings, bracelets, glasses. Wearing a skirt every now and then. Something just feels right about mixing gender presentation. I still love my beard, and want to go to the gym and get some broader shoulders etc. The mix is fun!

Tbh seeing cis guys like Sebastian Stan have longer wolf cuts and promiting from my partner I finally got a wolf cuts which I loved way more then the short boy cht but because outside my dad every guy I knew had the same haircut basically I felt like as a trans guy I had to fit in

honestly fair I look toooo boyish for my liking with short hair but it still was a fun while that my hair was shorter than my brother's 🤣 and I was exclusively wearing dark clothes Im now rocking long hair and dresses but have been on both ends of it 😇

As a comfortably cisgender female i wear exclusively mens graphic t shirts. they are just so much more flattering on me. I dont wear skirts or dresses because they make me uncomfortable. and woah im still a woman.

I examined my identity because both of my younger siblings came out as nonbinary and it made me question like… well why do I identify as a woman? Like was it by some specific criteria or just kinda what I was told felt like the right thing anyway? And ultimately I can’t come up with any criteria that doesn’t exclude people who identify this way too and are also valid as women. Sooooo…. I enjoy femininity and the performance of it because it makes me feel good about myself. I want my siblings and everyone else to find identities that give them that same sense of “yeah this is me.”
